Midlands Orthodontics is excited to introduce our new orthodontist, Dr. Herrington! Dr. Herrington is a highly trained and experienced professional, and she is excited to help you achieve a beautiful and healthy smile.
Meet Dr. Herrington
Dr. Herrington was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, but she now calls South Carolina her home! She is married to Parker, a fighter pilot at Shaw Air Force base. They enjoy traveling, going to the beach and playing with their Australian Shepard, Piper.
Outside the office, she enjoys the company of her family and friends, playing golf, going to yoga classes, cheering on Alabama Crimson Tide football and trying new restaurants. Now that she’s out of school, she looks forward to learning how to throw pottery and investing time in continuing education.
Education and Experience
Dr. Herrington graduated from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) Honors Program with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration on the pre-dental track. She received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and matched at Augusta University Dental College of Georgia to complete a two and half year orthodontic residency. Since graduation, Dr. Herrington has achieved the distinction of becoming a board certified orthodontist by the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO).
