MEET DR. HERRINGTON

Dr. Herrington joined Midlands Orthodontics in December 2022. She was born and raised in Dallas, TX. Her family has since relocated to Bluffton, and she now calls South Carolina home! She graduated from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) honors program with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration and pre-dentistry. She received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and matched at Augusta University Dental College of Georgia to complete a two and half year orthodontic residency. Since graduation, Dr. Herrington has achieved the distinction of becoming a board certified orthodontist by the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO).

Dr. Herrington loves exploring her new city of Columbia. Outside of orthodontics, she enjoys the company of her family and friends, playing golf, going to yoga classes, cheering on Alabama Crimson Tide football, and trying new restaurants. Now that she’s out of school, she looks forward to learning how to throw pottery and investing time in continuing education. Dr. Herrington is married to Parker, who is a fighter pilot at Shaw Air Force base. They enjoy traveling, going to the beach, and playing with their Australian Shepherd, Piper.
